Hello to all new students and a very warm welcome to

1 ROCK SOLID DRIVING SCHOOL
After I retired in October 2010 from the Permanent Defence Forces having served over 22 years, I realised it was time to put the skills and knowledge that I had acquired over the years as an accident free Army Driver to some good use, and decided upon a career of teaching people how to drive, and getting them up to a standard that would enable them to pass their Driving Test, and set them up for the future.

David is my 21 year old son and he will be joining the business in the near future. He passed his Driving Test on his 1st attempt way back in
May 2017 and has his full licence almost 4 years.
He is currently in the process of undergoing his Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) training and hopefully will be qualified to give lessons by May or June of 2021, depending on the current COVID-19 restrictions. David has just purchased his new car (pictured below) on 25 February 2021, and this car in due course will become another vehicle used in the training of students, and will be fitted out with dual controls when he is fully qualified. I'm really excited and so looking forward to him coming on board and I have no doubt that with his soft calm approach, will prove a very valuable asset to

MISSION STATEMENT
"To teach all students regardless of driving ability, the correct and safe way to drive on our nations roads, and to bring them to a standard that will not only be sufficient to allow them to pass their Driving Test, but that those skills will remain with them throughout their lives."
VISION FOR ALL STUDENTS
"Driving Is For Whole Life....Not Just A Test".
Remember that the vast majority of accidents occur within 2 miles of the victims home. You must remain focused at all times until you are safely parked up and the engine switched off.
